Breast Cancer
Breast cancer is cancer that develops in breast cells. Typically, the cancer forms in either the lobules or the ducts of the breast. Lobules are the glands that produce milk, and ducts are the pathways that bring the milk from the glands to the nipple. Cancer can also occur in the fatty tissue or the fibrous connective tissue within your breast.

Prostate Cancer
People with prostate cancer should be cared for by a multidisciplinary team (MDT). The team often consists of specialist cancer surgeons, oncologists (radiotherapy and chemotherapy specialists), radiologists, pathologists, radiographers and specialist nurses. This is an important factor which GHCE can provide for our patients suffering from prostate cancer.

Lung Cancer
Lung cancer is the uncontrolled growth of abnormal cells in one or both lungs. These abnormal cells do not carry out the functions of normal lung cells and do not develop into healthy lung tissue. As they grow, the abnormal cells can form tumours and interfere with the functioning of the lung, which provides oxygen to the body via the blood.

Rectal Cancer
Treatment for rectal cancer will depend on which part of your bowel is affected and how far the cancer has spread. Surgery is usually the main treatment for rectal cancer, and may be combined with chemotherapy, radiotherapy or biological treatments, depending on your particular case.

Brain Tumour
A brain tumour is a growth of cells in the brain that multiplies in an abnormal, uncontrollable way. There are 2 main types of brain tumour; Non-cancerous (benign) brain tumours which are low grade; and cancerous (malignant) brain tumours that are high grade. Some types of brain tumours grow rapidly; other tumours grow slowly. Considering these factors, our team will talk to you about how soon treatment should start after diagnosis.

Treatment Packages
Our Treatment Packages Include
- Transport to and from airport
- Daily transport to and from the treatment centre providing that accommodation is within 5 miles of the centre
- Initial consultation and all follow up consultations & consultant supervision of radiotherapy treatment planning and delivery
- Any out-patient medication that’s worth less than £10
- Translation services up to the value of £500 per patient
- The use of complimentary therapy within the centre (excl. exercise medicine).
Our Treatment Packages do not Include
- Visa arrangement and airline tickets
- The use of any exercise clinic within the centre
- Additional diagnostic imaging or testing – charged at applicable GC self-pay tariff
- Supportive / Take home medication of value >£10 – charged at applicable GC self-pay tariff
- SpaceOAR (or similar product) insertions – £5,000 per insertion
- Any additional investigation
- Any consultation with other consultants who are caring for the patient
- Emergency transport / admission at any hospital in the UK
Package A
The price for this package is lower due to the accommodation in which the patient will reside in. The price per night is £30, based on hotels such as EasyHotel, Travel Lodge, etcetera.
Package B
The price for this package is higher due to the accommodation in which the patient will reside in. The price per night is £100, based on hotels such as Sheraton, Holiday Inn etcetera.
